Tamarindo is located on the portion of the Pacific coast of the Costa Rican Province of Guancaste, known as “the Gold Coast”. It is approximately a 45 minute to one hour drive south of the Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport (Airport Code: LIR), which is just south of Liberia.
